Hi everyone! My name is Mark
I’m a creative person who loves art, movies, music, cars, BMX bikes, skateboards, snowboards, and video games. I’ve spent a great deal of my life pushing myself to be creative in one way or another, be it with art, music, or otherwise. I’m the proud father of two sons, who are my absolute world, the husband to an amazing wife who all support me. We have 2 pets Bryce, our dog, and Thor our cat, they’re not pets at all though, they’re 100% members of the family.
As far back as I could remember, I’ve been into art. I loved to draw and doodle as a kid, mainly in pencil, until I started exploring other mediums to draw with. Watching comic book artists use the pencil and ink method made me start looking at what I could do to enhance and expand what I was doing. Once I was in high school, I really gravitated towards 2 specific mediums: print and photography. I spent a lot of time either in the darkroom or the print shop because it was a great creative outlet for me. In the print shop, I learned how to use an enlarger, and how to run an offset press. The darkroom was a black & white darkroom, where I learned how to process my film into negatives, then to make prints from my negatives with an enlarger. When I graduated high school in 1997, I
I’ve been into photography for as long as I can remember. I got my first camera back when I was 11 or 12 and it became something that would forever be a part of my life. I dabbled around with various types of photography over the years, but I finally found my true calling when I discovered concert photography.
Currently, I’m working for a company as their director of marketing. I work with my company, as well as all of the sister companies to manage their marketing needs, website upkeep, SEO optimization, as well as creating new materials as needed. I’m also the director of client marketing as well. Since I work for a consulting company that helps our clients start their own businesses, I’m in charge of the department that takes care of all of their start-up marketing materials and collateral. I’m in charge of designing their logo, website, business cards, brochures, ID badges, vinyl decals, and other products that we offer.
I do some design work on the side as well, but most of my personal work is photography-related, dealing almost exclusively with concerts. As of late, I’ve started my own media outlet, and I’ve been working tirelessly to get it off the ground. It’s been a MASSIVE undertaking, and I’m excited to see what the future has in store for me!
