Corona Virus and the state of my photography

Ok, so it’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything, and I apologize for the complete radio silence. I wanted to take a few minutes and talk about Corona Virus and how it is affecting me. Ever since the shelter-in-place has begun, and put a stop to all tours, my photography has come to a halt. I’ve been in a massive creative slump as of late, but I wanted to take a little bit of time to touch base with all of my friends and followers to let them know what’s going on with me as a person.

As you all know, photography is a passion of mine, and has become my main creative outlet for the past few years. I’ve gone from basically a nobody, to a respected concert photographer for SkullsNBones over the past year.

Ever since the first show I shot at the Chit Chat back on June 16, 2017, I knew that I had found something special. I did my time as a local photographer, building my portfolio so I could move on to bigger and better things. That moment for me was when I shot Butcher Babies & Hollywood Undead on November 22, 2017.

Concert photography has become one of the greatest opportunities that I’ve had. Music is an integral part of my life, and I’m always listening to something. Either discovering new bands, or listening to material I’ve heard 1000’s of times before, I’m ALWAYS enjoying it.

Rest assured, once all of this is over, you will definitely see more from me! I’m looking forward to the world getting back on track with life as it returns to a more ‘normal’ pattern. In the meantime, I’m going to explore some other avenues of photography, just to get me back to being creative.

Beyond Photography…

As for more personal life related things. My family and I have been fairing well through all of this, and have been safe and staying healthy. Observing shelter-in-place and social distancing protocols hasn’t been overly fun, but we’re doing what we can to flatten the curve. Honestly, when this is all over, I hope I never hear any of those catchphrases again.

I’d like to thank each and every one of you for the support over the years. I’m truly honored that I’ve been able to share my artwork with all of you.

A Retrospective…

Seeing that it’s a Thursday, I figured I’d take a trip down memory lane. Let’s call this a ‘Throwback Thursday’, while I share some of my favorite photos from the past few years.
